About Us
We’re Udita and Louis. Through our heart-child Breathe Play Love, we find great joy in creatively expressing our learnings on the inward journey of self exploration. We bring you fun and simple wellbeing tools, such as this, by infusing the lightness of play & art with the depths of ancient wisdom & modern psychology — for a more joyful, mindful, and meaningful life.
The journey of Breathe Play Love probably began when Louis followed his heart and appetite for an inner adventure, cycling his way from England towards India, where we met. Every beautiful friendship begins with its own special-something — ours was childlike playfulness. In a world where playfulness has seemingly become a forgotten art and the idea of 'adulting' encourages less play, we feel something useful and important about having a playful way of exploring inner and outer life. Breathe Play Love is our way of inviting you to harness and experience the power of play on your beautifully messy inward journey. Because, hey, nothing needs to be that serious, right?…Not even meditation!
Personal Notes from the Duo
Udita
From being a meditation sceptic to a mindfulness student and teacher-in-training, my own journey has surprised me! How did this happen? You know the answer… Life!
From feeling like something was missing whilst working as a corporate techie. To feeling compelled to explore “this meditation thingy” upon realising that I had already been (somewhat) meditating and had felt its power. To spending time with a friend and a boyfriend who happened to be meditators. To experiencing a broken heart. Life has had its own quirky ways of taking me on an inward journey guided by teachings of mindfulness and compassion (especially, self-compassion).
I have since been on a powerful transformational journey — one of learning, unlearning, healing, and of courageously embracing all parts of me, albeit with a growing edge. Sharing these learnings that I, and many others, have found life-changing feels natural and fulfilling; expressing them creatively and artistically makes my inner child thrive with joy… probably more than a hot cup of masala chai.

I am a curious, adventurous, and childlike soul. Some years ago, I surrendered to my deepest desires and went off in search of answers to some of life’s deepest questions (I am also perhaps a little eccentric). So... what questions?? Um... Who am I? Why am I this way? What is this strange experience of life all about? The big, fun, ridiculously difficult ones.
Years of journeying, solitude, writing, and learning from those I meet have changed me... perhaps inevitably. A lot of self-healing, letting go, radical acceptance, and confronting deep fears. Some progress made (whatever that means), still some way to go. The need for answers has faded. Embracing 'I don't know' has become an unexpected revelation. I now live with more gratitude, love, laughter, and joy with just being. There are still the usual ups and downs, stresses, imperfections... the normal wonderful stuff of life. But an approach of mindfulness makes all these challenges easier and more interesting to live through.
When I stop trying to be anything, I seem to be a philosopher, poet, teacher, nomad. Something like that. I find natural joy in sharing what I’ve learned to help others on their inner journey towards peace and acceptance.
